Kim Ducoté, General Manager
Kim Ducoté has over 15 years of experience in Recycling, Solid Waste and Waste Prevention. Kim has worked with hundreds of businesses, industrial facilities, manufacturers, hotels, restaurants and institutions to start, or improve, recycling programs. Kim also introduces waste prevention strategies and sustainability practices.
Kim’s affiliation includes a large Puget Sound area recycling facility, where millions of pounds recyclable materials are processed and sorted daily. This experience allows her to answer almost any question about recycling and recycling programs. This experience also created the opportunity for Kim to see what happens to the items we purchase and taught her how businesses and individuals can benefit from innovative recycling programs and waste prevention techniques.
Kim has a Bachelors Degree from the University of Washington, in addition she has taken dozens of Environmental & Sustainability Classes including:

Kim is an active member of the Washington State Recycling Association (www.wsra.net) and the Network for Business Innovation & Sustainability (www.nbis.org). Both agencies provide Kim with continuing education, resources and contacts for the fast growing environmental industry.
Kim is the General Manager of Resource Stewards, a firm specializing in Recycling, Composting & Waste Prevention Programs, Sustainability Strategies, Environmental Education & Outreach, Green Event-Coordination and Contract & Project Management.
Thanks to Kim's hard work and dedication to the recycling industry she was inducted into the Washington State Recycling Association's 2008 Hall of Fame.
